As with most good things in life, our adventure with Chelsea & Allan started over a delicious cup of coffee. Meeting the soft-spoken, gentle-soul that is Chelsea, an lovely mom, Nicky, we knew that this was a special wedding journey we were about to embark on.
Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a wedding fairytale…
A year’s planning and many Skype calls and conferences later, and the wedding day finally arrives… And what a day it was! With unusual weather patterns the week leading up to the wedding, and torrential downpours the night before the wedding, we could not have asked for a more glorious, sunny wedding day!
With everything in place and all their closest family and friends gathered together, we witnessed the magic unfold. Perfection in every detail: from the gorgeous bridesmaids, pretty in pink, to the most precious flower girl stealing the show. Very proud and dapper groom, Allan, with his groomsmen, all dressed to the nines. Not to mention the vision that was our bride, Chelsea! But what can only be described as everlasting, pure love, topped the list of perfection on this day.
Surrounded by the beauty of the canelands of the KZN Northcoast, guests enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of live music by the Dave Betts band, while the Sage catering team kept the hunger at bay with elegant eats. In the background, the couple snuck away to capture their first moments as husband and wife with the talented lightburst Photography team.
Maroupi’s reception venue lends itself to most the romantic evenings, time again. And our bride’s choice of classic décor, in addition to the soft romantic lighting created a breath-taking setting for the evening’s festivities as the suns last rays dripped below the horizon.
